From the First Stitch to the First Step
When we breathed life into the Froddo brand in 1999, our goal was never just to make shoes. We set out to create a companion—one that would walk alongside children through their greatest adventures, from their very first tentative steps to joyful runs in the park.
We understood early on that a child's foot is not just a "small adult foot." It is a masterpiece of nature in development. That’s why, in 2003, we designed our first slippers—so soft that children didn’t want to take them off—and our first waterproof shoes that turned puddles into the most exciting playgrounds.
Back to Nature: The Barefoot Philosophy
We have long observed how children play and realized that nature has perfected the art of walking. The barefoot concept was never a fleeting trend but the result of our years of dedicated research into the freedom of movement.
We wanted to bring back to children the feeling of "barefoot walking" – that sense of freedom, connection to the ground, and the unrestrained movement of little toes, all while providing the protection that only a premium shoe can offer.
